Gwen was a very special lady. Filled with LOVE and the embodiment of these immortal words by Kipling: “If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a (Wo)Man, my (daughter)son!”
Thank you for another inspiring entry to ageosophy! It seems that purpose is perfected in two ways; living for something bigger than ourselves and facing/overcoming adversity. These are both counterintuitive to the part of our nature that seeks comfort and self-indulgence, which many of us pursue as the modern version of "the American dream". Yet, I think there is another part of human nature that exists, even if dormant for many of us. I believe it is to experience and reflect the magnificence of our Creator.
Thank you, Regina! If there is any area I can help with or you'd like to see a post on, don't hesitate to send me a note.
If ever you doubt your purpose in life, be reminded,Camille, that ageosophy has impacted my life for the better.
Well said...I think Gwen filled many "sixty seconds"!
Indeed, purpose takes many forms, big and small, ultimately for a higher purpose. Thank you for sharing your uncommon wisdom!
