Thank you for the podcast recommendation, will definitely give a listen. Insofar as figuring out what food is best, I'm learning as I go! What I know is the food supply issue is so confusing, layered, and deep and we have strayed so far from what food was intended to be, it can't be untangled; I go back to basics and eat mostly non-processed food, organic whenever possible and shop farmer's markets often.
Thanks for this Camille. Your Dirty Dozen/Clean Fifteen section is something I'm fascinated in. I wrote a piece called 'Trusting our Food and Water' (https://strong99.substack.com/p/trusting-our-food-and-water) where I'm asking questions about what our best bets are when the food chain and advice are "dirty". It can be a lot of work to figure out what's best. I'd love to hear your thoughts or perhaps interview you about that. Also - this podcast episode goes deep on how important our foot strength is - https://peterattiamd.com/irenedavis/
What I appreciate about your article is not only do you provide valuable information but you reveal resources where we can incorporate products that are safer to use. I like sitting under an umbrella on the beach rather than using sunscreen & when I walk to the water or take a stroll on the water’s edge I wear my hat, sunglasses, and a cover-up. I like getting vitamin D from the sun and thank you for recommending the better alternative products that I can consider if I indulge in prolonged exposure to the sun. I will pass on to my friends who sit out while consistently adding those commercial, terrific scented lotions to their bodies. Water consumption, being barefoot, & choosing better sun-screens are simple solutions to healthier lives. Recently there was a chemical spill that affected the water supply in Philadelphia & surrounding counties. I drink bottled water, however taking showers and brushing teeth are a few other forms of water consumption. I am not sure if filters can eliminate the toxins in this spill. My husband reassured me that we live in a county that has a different water supplier than the one that was compromised. Easter Sunday we will be visiting our friends in Philly, should I wander about the water, now that we can sort of stop wondering about a virus? In zodiac terms, the Aquarian age has the symbol of the water bearer. I wonder how that plays out?
The Huberman Lab podcast on water is very interesting; go to the website and scan the show notes for time codes on specific interest. I think he also had resources for testing. It’s a quandary to be sure and sometimes the lesser of two of evils!

Your feet and back will thank you!

I'm going to try going shoeless in the morning. It's hard to quit my slipper habit, but I will try.
